Built in Omaha to handle the plastic Nebraska actually generates.
Plastiq exists because the commercial plastic stream in this region was being treated as trash. We built the infrastructure — trucks, balers, processor relationships and reporting — to handle it properly.
A regional recycling operator, not a national broker.
Plastiq was founded to close a specific gap in the Nebraska commercial waste market: the plastic stream. Manufacturers, distributors, food processors and multi-unit operators were generating significant recoverable plastic, but their general haulers were sending it to landfill — and charging full freight to do it.
We built Plastiq the other way around. A focused operation. Local trucks. Direct relationships with vetted North American reprocessors. SLA-backed dispatch out of Omaha. And documentation that survives a customer audit, an NDEE inquiry, or an annual ESG report.
The mission is straightforward: turn plastic waste into documented value for businesses and for the planet. We serve the operators who take that seriously.
Four operating principles. Every account, every pickup.
Mission
Turn commercial plastic waste into documented value for businesses and the planet — at the scale Nebraska operators actually need.
Focus
We service the Omaha metro and surrounding Nebraska markets exclusively. No franchises, no national hand-offs, no offshore dispatch.
Standards
Every load is manifested, weighed and traced to a vetted North American reprocessor. If we can't certify it, we don't claim it.
Outcome
Our clients land their plastic on the right side of every customer audit, ESG report and NDEE inquiry — without changing how their facility runs.
